I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, school-related challenges and executive functioning and attention concerns. I use an integrative approach, which means that I incorporate a blend of therapeutic techniques to best meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative and relatable space for clients to freely express themselves, explore their challenges and work towards their goals to create lasting changes. (I even aim to make therapy feel a little bit fun!)
When working with children, I partner closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, foster supportive environments at home and at school and problem-solve collaboratively to equip them with strategies to support their child’s well-being.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both Florida and New York. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completed Advanced Studies in School Counseling at Long Island University in Brookville, New York. I have gained experience working in the school-based setting with grades K-12, as well as the clinical mental health setting.
When I am out of office, you can find me at the beach or on the boat, taking a yoga class, strolling a farmers market or spending time with family, friends and my Yorkiepoo Lido and German Shepherd Lainey.
If you believe that I may be a good fit to support you or your family in your therapeutic journey, I would love to connect. If you have any questions or would like to take the first step towards setting up an appointment, please feel free to reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation!
